Oh my, where has the time gone it's been almost 2 weeks since my last posting. The weather this past week has definitely changed to fall. The days have ranged from overcast & humid to sunny & cold have had to turn the heater on the last few mornings as it is very nippy out. Thursday gave us a very little bit of rain bearly enough to get the ground wet, I think most of it went to Morro Bay.

Oreo, Mango & LeeLou
The girls are doing fine. They all have been waiting for me ready for dinner. have had to clean up a couple of hairballs but that's about it. LeeLou has been very chatty & almost let me touch her yesterday. Mango as always supervises my daily notes & Oreo eagerly waits for her game of laser tag. Not much else is going on. Got your travel pics but haven't looked at them yet.

Today was another beautiful day. Sunny & warm to hot all day.
Mighty Coon Boys
The boys have been greeting me everyday at the door. Dwight escorts me back to the laundry room to supervise the cleaning of the boxes. Everyone else waits upstairs for breakfast. Cooper usualy supervises the filling of the dishes & has to test each one before I can put them on the floor for the rest. Have been have great games of laser tag & today gave everyone a brushing, however Bailey was not interested so he went back to his room after breakfast. Bobby was home Friday, Saturday & Sunday so only made brief visits, didn't see him as he stayed in his room. He was gone today. Dishes in the sink are building up.

Auntie Evie — Sun, 18 Oct 2009 03:13:00 GMT

What a week this has been - I had hoped to get to this entry 5 days ago BUT Tuesday we (Cambria) got hit with a big Pacific storm. We had 4 to 5 inches of rain from 5am Tuesday to 5am Wednesday & very windy gusts upto 25+. I lost power around 2PM on Tuesday the rest of town lost power around 6PM for any where from 3 to 12 hours & of course I was in the 12 hour catagory. Our power didn't come back on until arouond 2AM Wednesday. Needless to say no cmputer time that day. This was also a very warm storm. I have felt like I was back in Hawaii again with high humidity all week. It is a little cooler today but still warm & humid. I'm down at my In Laws thru tomorrow afternoon then we will head for home. Auntie Marilyn & Auntie Kay are taking care of business for me so the kids will all be well cared for. Next week is looking to be a very very busy week for me & my husband has taken the week off so we can work on our front yard fence so I may take a couple more days off & Auntie Marilyn has said she will stand in for me I think I will take her offer.

Usey
Has become quite the lover. Took Auntie Kay by to meet him & go over the routine. She fell in love with him & said she would go by for an extra visit at no charge to give him some extra TLC. Everything is fine at the house didn't need to water the outside plants after the 4" of rain on Tuesday but watered the inside one's the Christmas Cactus also along with the Orchids.

They got a bit wet on Tuesday, I went by 4pm to put them to bed, they were hold up under the deck & didn't want to come out at first had to bribe them out then they still didn't want to go to bed. Wednesday & Thursday they were already in bed when I got there at 5:30p. Dick had asked again if I would put them to bed on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Auntie Kay came with me to get a refresher on Thursday PM.

Sorry to hear about your temporary cruise delay. Hope you didn't get to stir crazy. I'm sure John found something to entertain you.
Gini were you able to sign up for the Cal Poly Poultry class next month? If you were'nt I can send you the weblink if that would help, let me know.

Hope you are back to having a great cruise, you only have a few more days left.

Hi There

Well today was gloomy all day. I will be going out of town this coming weekend so will have one of the other Aunties visit the children. Possibly Bonnie.   I'll let you know in the next couple of days for sure who will be visiting.

Usey
Usey was napping on the chair when I arrived but greeted my at the door as usual ready for lunch.   We had a nice visit & some lap time. He let me comb him without incident. I didn't push it only did it for a few minutes he seemed to enjoy it. He is very affectionate & lovy today. When I arrived there was a kitty visiting outside that disappeared under the front deck.

All is well here too. Dick called again today needs me to put the girls to bed M-T-W. He said nothing around here starts until after 5P so I guess you are right BINGO is the thing. Anyway no problem about bedtime visits on those days.
By the way I saw an article in the Trib today about the popularity of chicken raising these day. Christine's name was mentioned. Also
mentioned was a class thru Cal Poly Extension on Raising Standard Bred Poultry which I have signed up for on Saturday November
14th 9A to 4P for $89 in SLO if you are interested & want to go we can car pool.

This one had a bad feather day. Washed his feathers & can't do a thing with them & now the judge is coming. What is a rooster to do.

Weather here has been foggy & cool in the mornings & maybe clear by the afternoon. We have had several windy days with a few trees down here & there & several warm days.

Usey
Usey has been greeting me everyday at the door very luvy & ready to eat. He supervised the houseplant watering on Wednesday making sure that I was doing it right & didn't mess the Christmas Cactus. Found your water meter & as well as the shut-off valve to the house. Made a note of their locations on your copy of the contract.

Pookie, Orville & Lucy
Pookie has be sitting at the end of the hallway watching from a distance. She has been doing fine eating well. Dick was a little concerned on his first visit because he couldn't find her, but I reassured him that if her wet food bowl was empty & the litter box had been used she was somewhere in the house. Dick had asked me to put Orville & Luch to bed on Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday as he had appointments those days & would not be home in time to put them to bed. It appears that they tried to bury their water bowl it was full of shavings on Wednesday evening. Fortunately it was not too hot during the day but they were still thirsty & ready for a drink when I arrived. Thursday they weren't ready for bed when I arrived so had to herd them down the side yard to catch them. All was fine this morning. Didn't have any treats for them so they got some corn. I was thinking that maybe next week I would pick up a small squash or pumpking for them to enjoy peeking at.

Well tomorrow Mark & I will be heading over to the Poultry Show in Paso. I'm taking my camera to take some pictures. If anything looks interesting I will post them tomorrow night.

Well the day started out foggy & cold. but cleared remaining cool with occational breezes.

Tori, Jackson, Precious & Milo

Tori was napping on the couch, Jackson was under dining table. Both Precious & Milo happy to see me we had a nice visit. Gave Tori some Lax aire as she had vomited up some food on the couch. Gave Milo some Lax aire yesterday because he had left a large hairball on the carpet. All is fine

Furfle, Grrkkin, Smoochie & Wotzit

Dogs doing fine always eager for walks in the afternoon. Most of the time have been finishing dinner by the next PM feeding. Furfle has been also doing fine, have removed several hairballs from his back side & tummy. His appetite has been for the most part good there have been a few days when he didn't eat much. All is fine.

Sammy

Sammy has only spent one night outside. Last night Vic was able to get him in after I left. Tonight he came in on his own. His is always ready to go out in the morning. All is fine.

Sabrina

Sabrina has been her usual shy self hinding at the far end of the couch. She has been eating find. All is fine.

Clementine, Miss Kitty, Bailey, Brando, Murphy & Henry

All have been reporting for dinner & for most mornings for breakfast. Henry is not sure about me yet hissing at me if I get to close. All if fine.

Sunny, clear with a light breeze, was cold early this morning but is warming up in the sun.

Doobie, BeeGee, Baby Girl & Millie

BeeGee napping under the covers with us & Doobie came to give me a morning throat massage, Baby Girl wanted her lap time then decided it was time for a little play. Millie watching from her perch on the Jungle Gym. Earlier Millie had gotten her collar caught on the food dish scarring herself & the boys - everyone scattered leavng food everywhere. All else is fine.

Orville, Lucy & Pookie
The Girls, Orville & Lucy were very ready to be out & eagerly went scratching for their morning goodies. No eggs. Pookie still in hiding as usual, she did finish all of her dinner. All else is fine.

Furfle, Grrkkin, Smoochie, Wotzie
The Dogs happy to be out & ready for a little play time, they had finished all of last nights dinner. Furfle waiting upstairs ready for his loves he had eaten almost all of his dinner, gave him fresh canned food for breakfast. All else is fine.
